How to get an API key?
You need to reach out to ThredUp to have your account set up. An API key for the Sandbox environment will also be provided to you at that time.
How to list items?
Items are listed periodically in the Sandbox environment.
Once an item transitions to the listed state, it can take up to a few hours before it appears it becomes visible on the ThredUp platform.
What happens if an order needs to be cancelled after it has already been shipped?
If an order has already been shipped and needs to be cancelled, you should issue a full refund for that order. Use the Create a Refund endpoint to process the refund.
Why is there an additional delivery fee for some orders?
Orders shipped to Colorado or Minnesota include a retail delivery fee as required by state law. This fee is automatically calculated and added to applicable orders based on the delivery address.
How to indicate that an item has been authenticated?
Include the authentication_type field when listing items with one of these values:
THIRD_PARTYif the item has been authenticated by an independent third-party service and includes a certificateSELLERif you have authenticated the item yourselfNONEif the item has not been authenticated
